Moteur Aero Distribution is an authorized training center for Rotax iRMT Training. We have different training centers depending on the date and on the type of training. We are offering training from the familiarization course to heavy maintenance course.

TRAINING : LINE MAINTENANCE ROTAX

Overview / objective:

This course provides the knowledge necessary to perform service on ROTAX® aircraft engines, including 100 and 200 hours inspections as well as the annual inspection.

Targeted audience :

People seeking in-depth knowledge of the proper operation and maintenance of ROTAX® aircraft engines. A minimum of mechanical knowledge is required.

TRAINING : HEAVY MAINTENANCE ROTAX

The second level of training is iRMT: Heavy, which is only accessible after completing iRMT: Line and having two years of experience following the maintenance plan. This training is currently offered exclusively at SAS Avirex in Vernouillet, France.

The course includes both theoretical and practical training. Participants are continuously assessed during the practical sessions, and a final theoretical exam is held at the end of the course. A certificate of completion is issued upon successful completion of both evaluations.

In addition, participants may choose to attend an optional one-day module that covers the specifics of Heavy maintenance for the iS engine series.

The iRMT: Heavy certificate is valid for two years. Unlike the Line level, it cannot be renewed on the basis of proof of practice, so technicians are required to retake the training to maintain certification.

Finally, general overhaul training is only offered on request to workshops that have held an iRMT: Heavy qualification for more than five years. This training is typically reserved for workshops aiming to join the Rotax network, as it requires significant investment in the necessary equipment.
