Comet Aviation Supplies has officially transitioned its ROTAX iRMT (Independent ROTAX Maintenance Technician) training offering to Mega Aero Training Academy (MATA), now a ROTAX-approved training centre.

The handover follows a recent on-site visit and formal transition process, during which Comet Aviation Supplies representative Niren Chotoki met with MATA’s Chris Kraft and Wolfgang Schaffner to review the academy’s facilities and training capabilities.

MATA’s accreditation ensures that iRMT training continues to be delivered in full alignment with ROTAX standards, providing technicians with high-quality, certified instruction in a dedicated training environment.

With this transition, Comet Aviation Supplies will continue to focus on its core offerings, including ROTAX engines, parts supply, and technical support, while confidently entrusting training delivery to a specialised provider.
